About a week ago I planted crocus and they are coming up! Will they come up in spring again? What did I do wrong?
There are crocus varieties that come up in fall. If you don't have one of these varieties, it could be caused by planting the bulbs too shallowly or by unusual weather. See this article for help:
Planting of your Crocus corms should take place approx 6 to 8 weeks before your first frost and when the ground temperatures are below 60 degrees.
Crocus should be planted 3 to 4 inches deep.
There is little to be done with the plants at this point.

I would like to know "Do Crocus flower before or after rain?" I am pretty sure that their flowering is connected to rain.
You may be referring to Rain Lily flowers, which appear much like Crocus.
Here are some links to help you.

How long do they flower for?
Crocus flowers are relatively short lived- for most species, they will be open for about 10 days to 2 week.
I'm in zone 5a, if I obtain Crocus sativus corms, is it likely they will survive and ever flower?
Crocus sativus generally is grown in zones 6-9, but some gardeners have succeeded in growing them in zone 5. Site selection is important- this plant needs very well-drained soil, preferably sandy, and it will do better in a sunny, dry site. If you can provide these conditions, it will have a good chance to survive and flower.
I'm trying to identify an early spring blooming flower (?) growing in my yard. It has a dark green grass-like appearance with a small, purple, narrow cup-like flower. There might have been a light yellow or white inside part. Flower disappeared quickly. I don't think it was a crocus, least not like any with which I'm familiar. Couldn't find when searching ground covers, bulbs (it does have white, roundish bubs)or perennials in basic nursery catalogues (e.g. Springhill or Michigan Bulb). Any ideas?
Can you send us an image?
From the description, I would say Crocus.

Fall planting, before the first frost is proper planting time for your Crocus.

Hello,I live in Winnipeg Canada, can I plant some crocus(Vernus),Daffodils(narcissus),Hyacinth, imperialis Fritillaria, and Iris bulbs outside ?like gardens. Winnipeg's winter is very cold about -30centigrade. thank you.
I would recommend shopping at local garden centers or greenhouses for regional bulbs.
You can also make sure you provide extra mulch over the bulbs to insulate from the cold.
