e beet is a pink or sort of white color. do I need nitrogen ,boron or some other fertilizer? In the past I put chicken manure on the garden. Any suggestions would be helpful. What other information do you need?
There could be a few reasons why your beets are light pink and white on the inside. One possibility is that the beets are not fully matured. Immature beets tend to have lighter colors and may not develop their characteristic deep red color. Another reason could be that the beets have been overcooked or boiled for too long, causing them to lose their vibrant color. Lastly, it's also possible that the variety of beets you have is naturally lighter in color. Some beet varieties have lighter flesh, ranging from pale pink to white.
