Yellowing Azalea leaves in spring indicate a lack of what? It has been cleaned and watered with Miracle Grow and is displaying some uncharacteristic yellow looking leaves. Looked normal last season.

We have a very large azalea bush and were wondering how to get a start from it to plant, or if you can--and the same for a burning bush, if you can get starts off these bushes to grow others from them.

I have many flowering plants on my property that produce flowers for a season or two and then fail to bloom again--azaleas, rhododendrons, and hydrangeas predominently. We live in Massachusetts. We have many oak and pine trees on the property as well. Could that be the problem?
Have you pruned lately? Sometimes this affects blooming.

Can you tell me what sort of fungicide to spray my azaleas with?
I personally like neem oil, but you can also use copper sulfate many others. This article has a list of all the different kinds of fungicide there are: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/pp154
It looks like pale green spots on the branches and is killing the plant. Can you help?
This sounds like it might be lichen. Lichen does not kill the plant, but rather often attaches to plants that are dying. What other symptoms are you seeing? This will help better identify what is killing the shrubs.
It would not hurt to treat the plant with neem oil. It will kill both any fungus or pests that may be attacking the plant. Here is more information:

I purchased four small azalea plants two weeks ago and have not planted them yet. The blooms, of course, are falling off. Should I purchase food for them before I plant?
I would get them into the ground as soon as possible. You can always fertilize after they are planted.
A friend asked me about a problem she's having with an azalea. I don't know about azaleas, as they aren't supposed to do well here (Bell County, Texas). She has a bed with several shrubs and in the winter she gives them azalea food. All are doing very well except one. She described the problem as 'it has no leaves and very few blooms. I thought about fungus, but can't find a description of a fungal disease with those symptoms. I also thought about insect pests. Can you give me some guidance to pass on to her?
There are a few issues that could cause that. Look closely at the plant and see if you can see other signs. This article can give you a starting point: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/shrubs/azalea/common-azalea-problems.htm
If you can spot other indicators of a problem, we can give you more precise advice on how to treat it.
