Q.My Oakleaf Hydrangeas Haven’t Bloomed In A Few Years, But This Year It Looks Healthier Than Ever. Do I Need To Do Any Pruning ?

An oakleaf hydrangea needs very little pruning - only if you need to shape it after flowering. Has the area its planted in become more shady? Tree canopies widening, for example. They do best in morning sun and afternoon shade. If that is the case, you may be able to thin some of the overhead branches.
If you have been doing any pruning in late winter or early spring, it's likely the flower buds were cut off. The buds are formed on the previous year's growth. It doesn't need fertilizer, but you can add some compost around it. Here is more:
