Q.Help! My Palm Needle Bushes Don’t Look Well!
What do I need to feed them? They’re looking worse every year!

They can be fertilized in spring and late summer with a fertilizer especially for palms. If you haven't been feeding them, that could be the problem. They prefer regular watering, although they can adapt to most any situation. Go ahead and remove the dead foliage. There could be a pest, such as spider mites, causing problems, too. It looks like there is some webbing. After you clean out the dead foliage, spray the rest of the foliage with Neem oil, which should take care of spider mites and any other pest.
