Q.Deadheading Gardenias

Anonymous added on April 22, 2011 | Answered

I am new to gardening and this plant was a gift. Once the flower dies, should I just remove the dead petals, or how far down the stem should I go?

Deadheading removes the unsightly faded blooms, but letting them fall on their own will not hurt the plant.
