Yucca cuttings

I need to move so I am taking our yucca with us. A friend wants a piece, if possible. It does have a split (like 2 on one), so can we cut one off and grow it as well?

As long as the growth is mature and not new, you sure can! Don’t wait too much longer, as cuttings should be taken in the spring if possible. Learn how to properly “split” your yucca here:
