Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comOur neighbor asked us to water their hostas while they are on vacation. The plants have just been transplanted a week ago. They said to water every third day. It has been VERY hot and dry here, so we have given the plants water almost every day. The leaves are turning yellow. Is it because of too much water or not enough water?

It could be from too much water but it could also be from transplant shock since these were newly planted. This article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/environmental/learn-how-to-avoid-and-repair-transplant-shock-in-plants.htm [1]
