Yellow dots on Azalea leaves

My azaleas have developed yellow dots on the leaves. The leaves do not turn yellow and fall off, but I am concerned as to what it means about soil quality, etc. Blooms are fine and appear large and in good number. The yellow dots appear later in the season, usually after bloom.

Throughout the year, fungal spots (of various colors) appear on azalea and rhododendron leaves. The diseases are usually minor, only affecting the appearance of the plants. However, severe infection may result in early leaf drop, reducing the general health of the plant. Remove any fallen leaves and keep the foliage dry when watering your azaleas. Fungicide sprays during periods of high humidity will help prevent serious foliage damage. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/disease/plant-leaf-spots.htm [1]
