Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThis year I did some above ground planting in garden boxes (for the first time). I used soil from the tilled garden and some extra homemade compost (manure, hay, bark etc) which I’ve always used and have had a thriving garden. This year, however, every single one of my radishes were wormy and non-edible; unless, of course, you’re a worm. Discouraged, I’ve pulled them and am finding myself leary to try again (I really like those boxes!) and thinking about putting them in the ground instead. What’s with those worms anyway and how can I prevent them from worming their way in to my precious radishes again?
