Wisteria Vine Nutrition

I have two wisteria plants. One has many green leaves and is very healthy looking. The other one has less leaves and the leaves all have a red color to them. But this also is the one that has bloomed for the first time as we speak. So my question is – Do I need to fertilize the ground for the one with leaves that are reddish in color?

It may have a crown gall, which you would see near the base of the plant. It may also just be a normal reaction to a sudden change in temperature. It may be in a microclimate in your yard and the temps either rose or fell quickly and the red leaves are a reaction to that. If this is the case, the leaves should return to a normal color shortly as the plant adjusts.
