Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comfor the first year ever, I have an infestation of wire worms. They destroyed daisies, poppies and mums. I have found them in my vegetable garden too. My brussels sprouts and tomato plants look pretty sick. I applied a granular insecticide this morning and watered it down. How long do I have to wait before they will have been killed off so I an replant some plants. Can I plant vegetable seeds today, after I have used the insecticide? I cannot upload a photo but have verified that this is the problem.

I would give it at least a week, not because it will hurt the plants, but because you will want them to be dead before you plant. This should give it enough time to work, and kill off the off the pest.
