Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in Vancouver, WA, and the temp is supposed to drop below freezing in the next 2 days. I have two 8 ft. Abutilon that I’d like to winter over in the garage. Will they go dormant without light, or do they have to come in the house by windows?

If you have room inside, they’ll probably do better indoors in some light. They will do well in a cool place protected from freezing temps, but you should add some extra light. You’ll probably want to cut them back some; however, if you cut too much, you’ll lose some flowers next spring.
