Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe have several hibiscus plants that are in planters and need to be protected from the Chicago winter. The only space we have for bringing them “inside” is our garage. What type of covering can we use to protect them from the cold temperatures in the garage, which could go as low as 20 degrees F?

That may prove difficult. It you have any space inside, you could cut them back some and bring them indoors. They will want the temperatures to remain above 50 degrees.
