Wilting Tomato Plants

My tomato plants are wilting on the upper part of the plant. We have had an abundant amount of rain the last week. Could this cause this? And if so, will the plants ‘come back’ once the ground dries out?

It could be that the roots are suffocating from the water and it will improve when the water dries out. This is also a sign of a disease called wilt.
