Will Texas Sage winter over in Zone 5?

I have a Texas Sage tree (2 years old) (can I bring it into my 3 season porch in the pot (can get down to 35 degrees & has plastic all around the porch so NO wind or snow on it) & expect it to winter over for me?

It doesn't sound like your porch will stay warm enough for the sage. One unexpected freezing spell could do it in. Here's an article with info about how to get it through the winter: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/sage/growing-sage-plant-indoors.htm [1]
