Will my winter pansies come back in hanging baskets after being waterlogged and dying?

I have picked off the dead flowers – will the plants flower again, or should I start again?

Many times, they will start back from seed. This is how they will reappear in the wild. You may get some volunteers, but you will need to reseed them, or start fresh starts each year. They are considered annuals.
