Will A Carolina Allspice Shrub Grow In A Large Pot On Screened Porch? Gets Morning Sun.

My sister, lives in S.C, sent me two shrubs she ordered. Just wondering if I could grow them in a pot on my screened porch. There’s plenty of direct morning sun. Any information will be appreciated.

It should do fine for a while in a pot, however, be aware that it can grow up to nine feet so you may want to consider transplanting it at some point. Start out with a medium-sized pot, and repot it in gradually larger pots as it grows.
