Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI took wild primroses from my mother’s country field and planted it in my garden.The primroses bloom every April, but for several years they now also bloom in September – why do wild primroses bloom twice yearly in my garden when they only bloom once in the wild? That’s not a bad problem to have. Perhaps you are deadheading yours or cutting them back in late summer, which would promote a fall flush. In the wild, there is no one cutting them back so blooming ends after one cycle.
In the article below, it says primrose may continue to bloom throughout the summer and in some areas into the fall.
