Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy azalea bushes have turned a ‘reddish’ color in the past few days. I have never seen this happen in the fall any other year. I’m afraid they are diseased. Can you advise me if the bushes are infected? And if so, can they be saved, or must I remove them?

Unfortunately, it does sound like your azalea may have root rot. It is difficult to treat. Whether you treat them or remove them is up to you, but be aware that root rot can affect other plants in your yard.
