why is my fig tree only producing fruit on one branch?

I have a 2 yr old fig tree. It is in the direct sun and I water it almost every day. There are several branches from ground level but only one has produced figs. What do I need to do?

I think the only problem is that the tree is young. Figs need a few years on them to produce well. Here’s a basic article on fig care that might be useful to you: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/how-to-grow-figs.htm [1]
