why are my orange tree fruits kind of sour?

I planted orange tree seeds from sweet orange fruit. However, the resultant fruit produced from them is sour. What can I do to sweeten the next year’s produce?

Fruit from a seed grown tree can take several years to mature. Cold temperatures also plays a huge role in fruit flavor.

Also make sure your letting the fruit ripen fully before picking.
