Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comwe removed a maple tree…ground out the stump…added good grade soil…followed grass seed instructions…now have a mushroom/fungus…white spots popping up…they seem to be “hairy and smell like a mushroom.

Since you are trying to get grass to grow, you may want to leave the mushrooms for now. They actually are beneficial. Here is more:
