When to Spray Roundup

I have just broke the ground with my tractor and have it ready to plant. Can I spray Roundup after I plant my seed to prevent new grass and weeds?

I would avoid the use of chemicals in the garden if possible, especially if this is going to be used for vegetables or other edibles. Instead, you should consider laying down landscape fabric or mulch to keep down weeds. Additionally, by using the Roundup, you may be killing your newly planted seeds as well.
