When Should I Move A Peony To A Different Spot In My Yard? Is It Best To Do It Just As The Plant Comes Up In The Spring Or To Wait

til after it blooms? Right now it is by the lake and I want it neared the house in a more protected area. It is a fern peony.

September is the best time to replant peonies, but in the case of fernleaf peonies, the article below says not to dig them. I'm sure it will be fine if you do.
