growing Roma tomatoes

I’m container planting determinate and indeterminate tomatoes for canning. I’ve read that pruning is important on only one of those two types. Are we to refrain from pruning?

While gardeners debate the usefulness of pruning indeterminate tomatoes. most people seem to agree that determinate varieties should not be pruned.
