What shrub was used (pictured on website) to prune into tree form?

I would like to prune a shrub into a small tree (mature size 6′-8′ H X 8′-10′ W). Location gets all day sun. Any suggestions (varieties)

The one that we have featured right now is a hygrangea. They will appreciate some shade, though. They can do fine in full sun in cooler areas, but will need shade when it is hot.
