what makes early lemons turn yellow

My tree has 10-12 small lemons but some are turning yellow and falling off. What is wrong?

Some fruit drop can be quite normal.
There also can be environmental conditions you cannot control.
Correct watering, fertilizing are also reasons you may be having fruit drop problems.
Have you inspected your tree carefully for any signs of disease or insects?
