What Kind Of Soil Do You Buy To Plant Candy Cane Oxalis And What Do You Mix With It?

I planted mine in regular potting soil and watered and fertilizer the plant and it bloomed out one candy cane but, the plant never did fill the pot up. It only produced a little bit of greenery and one bloom and that was it. I watered this plant all summer long and that is all I got. This year the stems of this plant are a whole lot more sturdier than last year and as usual another plant as come up in the pot like it did last year. Is this suppose to happen? Let me know and it will be appreciated. I really do want a pot full of this plant. Thanks.

It goes dormant in the summer, so that is why your efforts during the summer didn't help. It needs very well drained, sandy loam type soil to perform its best. It can take full to part sun. This article should help:
