What Kind of Herb?

Question

This is a bush in by yard. It has a very strong smell & beautiful yellow flowers. I’d like to research it & find the best ways to consume it.

I hope some one can identify it.

That appears to be rue. It is not a culinary herb but rather a medicinal one. I would not eat it as it can have serious side effects.
