What is wrong with my hibiscus tree?

I bought a hibiscus tree a few weeks ago and repotted it in a larger container. It started losing its leaves after turning yellow, before I repotted it. Now almost all the leaves are yellow and falling off and new growth is emerging. It had over 50 buds when purchased and 4 have bloomed. Two yesterday, which have since shriveled up, and two today. The trunk and branches also feel flimsy, not like a normal tree branch. I have not fertilized it yet. Could you tell me what I need to do?
