What is this plant, please?

I live in North Wales, UK and we recently moved to a new house by a canal and river. In the extensive back garden, we were digging a compost heap, and found this weed/plant and can find no reference anywhere. It might be invasive, so need to know what it is and how to treat or get rid of it. Anyone please?

It appears to be Creeping Bellflower (Campanula rapunculoides).
