What Is Eating My New Gunnera Leaves?

It had 3 new leaves with stems about half inch diameter.

It could be anything, and unfortunately your photos did not come through. I will be unable to identify the issue. You might need to look for signs of what it is. Slime trails would indicate snails or slugs, which feed at night. Deer or other animals might leave fur or droppings. Once you can figure out or catch in the act the culprit, then you can make a treatment plan.
