Very sudden onset of fuzzy, black spots. They’re just on the top of the leaves. It’s effecting the palm planted with it also. Both these plants are 25 years old. Probably need transplanting again. Just moved from dry Colorado to wet NC and this is new…

Likely, insects of nibbled on your leaves, and the sticky sap has gathered dust or mold!

I would spray them off with water, and use an insecticide/fungicide to prevent it in the future.
