What Herbicide to Use to Kill English Ivy

Please tell me what I can use to kill English Ivy. I need the very strongest!

I hear if you soak cigarette butts in water for a day,, the water will kill them.

The very strongest would be undiluted Round-Up. That will kill anything, but English ivy may need a few application to truly kill it.
