What does new Caladium growth look like?

I have a small pot with many new growths. They remind me of new mushrooms growing. However, they are not mushrooms. They have a stem with a tiny head. There is a card in the pot saying it is a Caladium plant. I do not remember having such a plant in the house. Someone may have put the card in the wrong pot.Know this is not much information but would really appreciate some help here. Do not know how to send a picture as I cannot find the tiny plants on-line.

Caladium seedlings would look like many seedlings, Light green small double leaves. It very well may be a fungus growing in the empty pot. This is common.
