Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a Japanese black pine that I started from seed about 4 months ago. I started it inside and moved it outside when the weather was nice. It’s starting to get cold and it is starting to discolor. Should I let it run its course outside or should I bring it back inside? I live in northeastern part of Mass. The pine is only about 2 to 3 inches tall and I have it in a deep pot.

I would say since it is still so small, bring it in. I would let it over winter indoors until it is at least a foot or so tall.
