Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy sister has been having trouble taking care of her cactus and since I have a few I tried to help her out. Her cactus had its roots severed but its still got a few healthy sprouts at the bottom so its okay to plant. My only concern is how much soil it needs and how big of a container it should be put in, also I’m a bit unsure as to how much it should be watered. There’s a lot of leaves on it and its around 9cm in diameter so I felt it would need more soil and water but for now I’ve put it in a wide and shallow disc container. Any advice?

This is an Aeonium! They are succulents that must be treated, only slightly, different than a cactus. Unlike a true cactus, this plant must never be allowed to dry out, fully, but never can remain saturated, either.
This article will help you to know what kind of soil they require, and what care they need:
