Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWhich is best: take to the dump, dry in the sun and burn, soak in water and drown (then use as feed/compost)? My neighbouring allotment is spreading bindweed onto my plot, so if you’ve any ideas for stopping the spread, that would also be helpful.

Burning will, certainly, destroy them. Otherwise, they can seem to come back from the dead!
This aggressive weed will need equally aggressive control methods.
