I don’t know why they would discontinue their specialty fertilizer unless it wasn’t a big seller. If you can’t find 9-6-6 easily, you can use 5-10-10 or 8-8-8 slow release formulas. We don’t recommend brands but be sure to buy it from a reputable source. Here is a different school of thought below:
