We Have a Foamy-Beige Color Fungus (?) on the Soil in Our Flower Beds

What is it? How do we get rid of it? Is it poisonous? We live in southwest Michigan. When it is hot/dry, I water 2x day.

It’s slime mold. Don’t water 2x daily…especially after 5pm. Water more deeply less often, and leave time for ground to dry off before nightfall. This article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/fungus-lichen/what-is-slime-mold-slime.htm ^[1]
