mold on fig tree

We have a blackjack fig tree by Monrovia planted in a pot. It was covered well since September. We unwrapped it and there is some white mold around bottom. What should we do?

Wrapped fig trees often are susceptible to mold and mildew if moisture and heat is not allowed to escape. You will want to treat your tree with a fungicide.
