Watering Yukon gold potatoes

I live in N.English. Kansas. First time grower of any type of potatoew. How often should I water and how high must I keep building there hill

If you live in a dry area you need to water every week.At least an inch of water. Potatoes are mostly water and are heavy feeders too.
Make sure to fertlize once per month, depending on your soil. You can use foliar fertilizer or solid about 6 inches awy from the foliage.
You will probably hill about three times,till you have an approximate 10 inch mound.
Let the foliage die back until it is withered, then enjoy hour delicious crop.
Look out for colorado beetles and grubs!
