Unidentified Pests!

Question

Hi there! I’m from Tampa, Fl, and I have an infestation thats killing off my houseplants. The bugs are tiny white ovals that don’t seem to move very much. The leaves are rapidly turning brown one at a time and dropping off, and the bugs are clustering on both brown and green foliage. I’ve been removing the leaves as they die, but new growth is starting to be affected. I’ve moved all my plants outside in order to isolate the problem, but I can’t figure out what these little bastards are. I’ve also been googling descriptions of the bugs (see attached pictures) and the symptoms of plant decay, but have been unsuccessful so far. Could you help me identify the insect so that I can start treating my plants? I would really appreciate it! Thank you, Joy

I have a broad range insecticide/antifungal that I like to use. It is made of plant oil, and will not harm you, or your plants. In your case you can skip the soil priming part, but it wouldn’t hurt to do it anyways, as it will only improve you soil quality. The recipe is as follows:

First, you will want to prime the soil with dolomitic lime, then spread wettable sulfur to Kill off any infection in the soil. I Also like to spray the plant itself. Mix a few drops of one or more of these ingredients into warm water with a spoonful of coconut oil: Rosemary oil, lavender oil, neem oil, garlic oil, cinnamon extract/oil and for really bad cases, also add clove oil.
