Tulip Bulbs

My recent cut flower delivery came with tulips complete with bulbs. I’ve cut the bulbs off, the flowers are in the vase, but what do I do with the bulbs. They have roots.

I'm surprised they came with bulbs on a cut flower delivery. You can buy blooming tulips in spring and if they normally return in your area they can be planted out in the garden, where the leaves will gather energy for next year's blooms. If the tulips don't get enough cold weather, they won't return and are treated as annuals. In the UK, they are typically replaced every year for the most reliable bloom.
