Tropical canna

I ordered tropical canna from a nursery book, planted it just like it said. Plant is about 6 inches tall and never bloomed. Is watered twice a week, full sun. So what is the problem with it?

It may take several years to see blooms from a single small plant. They will get to between 3 and 10 feet tall before you will see blooms.
