Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe had a company trim our lantanas and they didn’t prune; they used an electric trimmer. Now they are all dying. We live in southwest Florida. Do you think the way they were trimmed is the reason?

As long as the stems are still green, they should be fine. The use of an electric trimmer shouldn’t make much of a difference, unless they actually damaged the plant with choppy cuts (not smooth). These plants can normally be pruned back by a third to half their growth. For future reference, this article should help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/lantana/lantana-pruning.htm [1]
