trim Azaleas

Hi, Your answers regarding trimming Azaleas are very helpful. but I still have a questions and want to make sure.——Could I still trim down Azalea even after the new leaves are already growing after the flowers fade? I just need to shape it a bit smaller and lower. Pls see attached photos below.

Yes, go ahead and clean up the spent flowers and trim to the shape you desire.
