Transplanting Asparagus Plants

I just read your article regarding transplanting asparagus plants. Is it still possible to transplant asparagus at the end of May even though I know it’s not the optimal time? We live in the midwest and our asparagus plants have almost gone to seed.

You can. You will need to make sure it gets extra water. and if it gets hot, provide some shade for the plants while they establish.
