Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy thyme plant is 3ft. wide with long branches around the edges but shorter ones in the center. It looks like an inverted circle in the center. Is this normal or should I prune it back, and if so, how much should I prune it. We live in Texas.

Thyme can be pruned back at almost any time, as long as it is not hot and dry. It can benefit from yearly pruning, or even multiple prunings per year. This article will help with the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/thyme/pruning-thyme-plants.htm [1]
